Raccoon in yard, garden, on lawns and grass

Raccoons will also come to your yard in search of grubs.  Raccoons will dig holes into your lawn/grass to get to the grubs.  Raccoons have also been known to entirely lift up or re-roll freshly laid sod.  Appropriate grub control is needed.

Additionally, raccoons may just pass through your yard on their daily route.  To avoid prolonged raccoon activity in your yard, ensure that prevention steps are followed.

Raccoons are attracted to your yard for various reasons as noted above such as garbage (keep garbage in a tightly closed container),  bird feeder, fruit trees, water source (they like to wash their food), dense brush, appropriate den sites.
