Ontario Coyote Alert

Coyote sightings and troubling encounters seem to be on a steep incline. Reports from Princess Margaret Park in Etobicoke to all over Brampton and Mississauga are coming in daily.  While some cities and municipalities have implemented maps and reporting systems outlining the sightings, we are attempting to make one comprehensive map here. Please feel free to add your sighting.

What should you do when seeing a Coyote?

• Call 311 and report sighting to Hawkeye Bird & Animal Control (use form on this page)

What should you NOT do when seeing a Coyote?

• Do NOT engage (if possible)
• Do NOT feed
• Do NOT attempt to trap or harm

What can you do if a Coyote shows up in your yard?
